Message	turbos are a couple of years old, so I'm led to believe that this has been a common practice of Garrett to do for some time. You would need to pull yours apart to see if yours are jetted or not - that would be the only conclusive way to know on your end. I've inspected the new GT2860RS cartridges for Dee's turbos to find that they too have the identical flare fitting in them.
